Chrome extension for visual QA
Inspect any live page. Compare it to Figma. Apply the fix on that URL. The loop ends at a fix, not a ticket.
How it works
- Install the Chrome extension and select an element. Use the properties panel, spacing overlay, or isolate.
- Edits land in CSS Changes. Open page overview, or run Scan UI, when you want the whole page.
- Share a link, copy CSS, or send the batch to Cursor or Copilot. Nothing goes live for other visitors.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a Chrome extension for design QA?
Yes. Inspect and edit the live page, compare Figma, run Scan UI, then share the fix or send Changes to Cursor or Copilot.
What can I edit on the page?
Size, position, flex and grid, flex item, spacing, color, type, border, radius, shadow, opacity, hover states, in-place text, images, and SVGs. Copy or paste CSS and elements, including a Figma paste above or below a selection.
Do my edits change the live site for visitors?
No. inspecta is a local playground on the real page. Use Show changes to hide or apply the inspecta stylesheet while the list stays in Changes.
What else is in the extension?
Page overview (bulk edits and download any image or SVG), Scan UI for design drift, Figma Compare, Edit with AI, notes on the page, and a capture of the selected element.
Is it a DevTools replacement?
No. DevTools debugs code. inspecta is visual QA: select, preview, apply, then share or send the batch.
Do I need Figma or a repo?
Neither is required to inspect and edit. Add the Figma plugin to compare tokens. Add the IDE extension to send Changes to Cursor or Copilot.
